Alum Bank Hearth Co. hosts antique & classic weekend

BEDFORD COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) — The Alum Financial institution Volunteer Fireplace Corporation in Bedford County is hosting its Antique and Traditional Weekend celebration from July 8 to 11.

There will be a extensive wide range of amusement park rides, food, games and are living entertainment all weekend at the intersection of Route 56 and Route 96. This will take place rain or shine and proceeds advantage the Alum Lender Volunteer Fireplace Enterprise. Thanks to the substantial amount of people that are predicted, pets are not permitted at the celebration.

SCHEDULED Functions

THURSDAY

The event will kick off at 5 p.m. Thursday’s amusement will function “White Shadow” at 7 p.m.

  • Modified Backyard Tractor Pulls: 6 p.m.
  • Firemen’s Parade: 7 p.m.
  • Children’s Pedal Tractor Pulls: 8 p.m.

FRIDAY

The occasion will kick off at 5 p.m. Thursday’s enjoyment will function “Fabulous Flashback” at 7:30 p.m.

  • Opens at 5 p.m.
  • Cruise-In: 6 to 9 p.m.
  • Pickup Truck Pulls (Bodyweight in at 6 p.m., pulls TBA)

SATURDAY

  • Antique and Common Vehicle Demonstrate: Registration operates from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and judging starts off at 10 a.m.

  • Rooster BBQ: 11 a.m.
  • Parade of Tools: 1:30 p.m.
  • Tractor Pulls: Weigh-in is at 1 p.m. and pulls start off at 2 p.m.
  • Overall performance by Chris Woodward & Shindiggin: 7:30 to 9 p.m.

SUNDAY

  • Group Worship Company: 10 a.m.
  • Pig Roast: 11 a.m. This will go until eventually the source is marketed out.
  • Parade of Products: 12:30 p.m.
  • Pedal Tractor Pull: 1 p.m.
