Clement to be subsequent 3rd District judge, elected without opposition

Lincoln Parish lawyer Monique Clement is established to develop into the future judge in the 4th Judicial District Court in Lincoln and Union parishes. 

When qualifying for a vacant seat on the court closed July 16, Clement was the only candidate for the Oct. 9 election. 

Clement was born and elevated in Thibodaux, with a family members who she described as “holding training vital.” 

“I have constantly been supported in that arena,” she explained. 

Clement explained as a female she sees the require for much more range on the bench and the way in which the court treats associates of distinct races, but thinks electing top quality judges is also crucial.

“It’s just a balancing,” she claimed. 

Clement chose to make Lincoln Parish her residence even though she was attending Louisiana Tech College. She currently resides in Ruston with her husband, Keith, and her daughter, Madeline, who she stated are her most significant supporters.
