Jacksonville International Auto Show and Amelia Island Concours ahead

2021 Jacksonville International Auto Show: Friday, May 7, to Sunday, May 9, at the Prime Osborn Convention Center at 1000 Water St. Models from more than 20 car lines on show with wellness protocols in accordance with the venue and CDC guidelines. Test drives outside by Chevrolet. Inside, Ford Bronco and F150, Ram 1500, Toyota Sienna, Jeep Wrangler, Audi R8, Lamborghini, Lotus, Bentley and Maserati as well as EVs like the Ford Mustang Mach-E, Porsche Taycan, and Audi E-Tron. Classics from the Classic Car Museum of St. Augustine will be shown, plus the Corvette Circle on Saturday, Mustang Alley on Sunday outside, as well as the Military Trail and Military Vehicle Preservation display. Boots on the Ground car show: 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, May 8, at Flamingo Lake RV Resort at 3640 Newcomb Road in Jacksonville. Sponsored by the Callahan Cruisers of North Florida.
11th Annual Rev It Up Car Show: 10 a.m. Saturday, May 15, at the Town Hall Event Center, 2300 Market Drive in Fleming Island. The event is sponsored by Clay County Cruzers.
26th annual Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance: Friday through Sunday, May 21 to 23, in and around the Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island. This year’s honoree is racer and entrepreneur Lyn St. James, while the 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Sunday classic car event honors the exotic and historic Hispano-Suiza marque, plus the iconic Shadow Can-Am and Formula 5000 race cars, Muscle cars of the ’70s, rare 2-stroke motorcycles and a Weird and Wonderful car class. Tickets to Sunday’s 240-car display are $150 for adults and $60 for youth and military, more than $3.75 million donated to Community Hospice & Palliative Care, Spina Bifida of Jacksonville and other charities since 1996. “One Love — See Us on 2s” car and bike show: 1 to 7 p.m. on Saturday, May 22, at Dee’s Music Bar at 2141 Loch Rane Blvd. in Orange Park. The event raises funds for victims of motorcycle crashes or their families. Spectators are free, with a $10 registration fee for motorcycles exhibited in the show, and $20 for cars.
Second annual Hot Rods 4 Kids: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sat. May 29, at First United Methodist Church, 449644 US 301 in Callahan. Free for spectators and $20 per show vehicle, proceeds benefit the church youth ministry.
Cars For Cancer Cure car show: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, June 5, at BJ’s at 15022 Max Leggett Parkway.
Highway to Help Heroes Charity Drive: Saturday, June 5, with a 45-mile course around Northeast Florida, to end at Cowford Chophouse. It benefits injured and fallen officers through the Fraternal Order of Police (FOP) Foundation and military veterans through K9s for Warriors. To register or learn more, visit highway2helpheroes.com.
Rockabilly Car and Bike Show: 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, June 6, at Adamec Harley-Davidson at1520 Wells Road in Orange Park, hosted by the Callahan Cruisers. Free for spectators and $20 per show vehicle, with live music from The Beau Burners.
Cruise Into History X: PT Cruiser Car Show, June 11 to 13, Days Inn at 1300 Ponce de Leon Blvd. in St. Augustine. Free to spectators and $45 day of show for PT Cruiser show cars. Information: firstcoastptcruisers.org.
The FIRM (Florida International Rally and Moto Park): Open Track Days held most weekends at the road course and rally course at 7266 Airport Road in Starke.

Clay County Cruzers: 3 p.m. every second Saturday at Dick’s Wings, 1803 East-West Parkway in Fleming Island, and 5 p.m. every third Friday at Freddy’s Steakburgers at 386 Blanding Blvd. Both are in Orange Park.
Classic Car Museum of St. Augustine monthly cruise-ins: St. Augustine Cruiser’s “Cruise In” from 5 to 7 p.m. every third Saturday, and Cars and Coffee from 8 to 10 a.m. every fourth Saturday, both at 4730 U.S. 1 S./Dixie Highway South in St Augustine.
