Jerold “Jerry” Polakoff – Obituary – Mahoning Valley

Jan. 18, 1954 — July 5, 2021 (age 67)

CORTLAND — Jerold “Jerry” Polakoff, 67, handed away July 5 at the Avenue at Aurora Treatment and Rehab Heart immediately after a valiant struggle with Many Sclerosis.

Jerry was born Jan. 18, 1954 in Youngstown to Max and Lois (Lerner) Polakoff.

Jerry attended the Rock of Grace Church.

Jerry was an car vendor for a lot more than 30 decades. He was the proprietor/operator of the former Cortland Motors and Cortland Wholesale Vehicle.

Jerry loved cars. He was very pleased of the typical cars and trucks he received to push and possess.

He was a member of Camp Fire Street Rodders and the Cortland Moose Lodge.

Jerry was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers enthusiast.

In his youthful many years, he would be located riding his motorcycle and boating.

Jerry cherished to journey, specially if he was traveling to a typical vehicle display like the James Dean Operate Rod & Kustom Display, which he beloved!

Jerry’s pursuits modified with age. He started heading to MacKenzie’s dance and music recitals and Preston’s sporting gatherings which rapidly became paramount in Jerry’s life.

Jerry experienced a great frame of mind and demeanor he was conveniently liked by neighbors and close friends.

Jerry had the present of gab and could make discussion with everyone.

Jerry cherished to journey the planet on his scooter and go to his neighbors. Jerry had a zest for existence, he beloved singing and dancing, and rocking to nearly anything that Elvis sang!

In addition to Jerry’s mothers and fathers, he was preceded in demise by his sister, Susan Shaffer.

Jerry is survived by his beloved wife, Sharon (Shrock) Polakoff his children MacKenzie Polakoff, Preston Polakoff and Alyssa Polakoff and his sisters Janet Elder, Martha Tisler and Linda Polakoff.

Pastor Casey Chapman done his funeral provider July 14 at Lane Funeral Households, Shafer-Winans Chapel, 164 N. Substantial St., Cortland. Interment was in Hillside Cemetery.
