NYC mother who abandoned 4-yr-aged on the avenue produced from jail

A Bronx mom was launched from custody on Wednesday just four days following allegedly abandoning her 4-12 months-aged daughter on a Bronx avenue while she went to a homeless shelter.

Sadeekah Abdul Salaam, 32, is charged with abandonment of a boy or girl, acting in a way injurious to a baby, and reckless endangerment.

She was arrested Monday, two times after law enforcement say she deserted her daughter, Sidaya, on a Bronx road right after midnight. The woman was reportedly carrying only a sweater in 40-diploma weather.
