Tennessee teen arrested after fireworks destroy police car

A Tennessee teen was arrested Tuesday immediately after allegedly tossing fireworks at a police vehicle in Nashville and placing the cruiser on hearth.
The Metro Nashville Law enforcement Department SUV was parked at an off-responsibility officer’s home in the Hermitage Precinct on Monday when flames engulfed the entrance stop of the car or truck, the department said.
No injuries were being claimed. Police shared shots of the SUV on hearth and the aftermath of the ruined motor vehicle.
Detectives arrested a 14-yr-aged in connection with the arson on Tuesday early morning.

A 14-12 months-aged told officers that he tossed a firework on the property, which set the police automobile on fireplace, authorities stated.

“The teenager explained he tossed a firework on to the assets in which the SUV was parked, catching it on fire,” the section explained.
The teenager, whose name was not produced, was taken to a juvenile facility.
