ALPENA — The Trade Club of Alpena is internet hosting the 2nd Yearly Independence Day Decorating Contest. This is an option for Alpena location corporations and inhabitants to showcase their patriotic spirit with a decorating contest.
“Last yr with so several activities canceled, we intended this decorating contest as a way for the community to celebrate,” mentioned Brian Holmes, president of the Exchange Club of Alpena. “We really encourage all Alpena businesses and inhabitants to pull out all the stops and proudly exhibit their crimson, white and blue decorations in their entrance window, yards, and porches.”
One particular of the Exchange Club’s systems of support is Americanism which promotes pride in our country, appreciation for the freedoms granted to American citizens, and gratitude to the guys and women of all ages who serve/have served in the Armed Forces. Final year’s organization winners included Lappan Company, Bolenz Jewellery and Jimmie Garant’s Bash Store. Household winners bundled Durkee residence, Rouleau residence, and Lewandowski household.
The contest is open to all Alpena organizations and residents. Prizes will be awarded to the top rated three companies and leading 3 citizens. Last year’s winners are not eligible for prizes, but we hope they will carry on to decorate. The community will also choose a People’s Selection Award by way of the Exchange Club of Alpena’s Fb page. The photo with the most likes by noon on July 2 will be named the People’s Decision Award winner.
