TAMPA, Fla. – A former Air Power veteran is on a mission to assistance her band of brothers by helping to brighten up their smiles.
Altierus Career College or university dental instructor Eurika Peebles offers palms-on schooling in the Bayshore Dental Center Cellular Dental Van in Tampa. She’s been a dental hygienist for 15 several years.
Though sitting down home throughout the pandemic, the Air Power veteran came up with an plan to support her comrades. Now she delivers free dental treatment to vets who never qualify by way of the V.A.
“Simply because what we’ve completed for the region, we have served our nation, and I truly feel like now we will need to serve them. And this is a way that I want to try out to lead to provide them is by basically making an attempt to link them with some dentist is ready to do some volunteer dental treatment,” she discussed.

“The dentist will do the full examination and diagnose what form of cleansing they need. And I am keen to do the cleansing element. And then the dentist, at their own discretion can come to a decision what kind of restorative or how a lot restorative they want to donate to them,” she reported.
Peebles feels strongly about providing back again to vets for the reason that of her family’s wealthy history of armed forces service.
“I was in the navy. My grandmother, my mom stated she was Military. She did 20 moreover decades. My father, who is deceased, he was Air Pressure. I have a pair of his brothers who ended up also Army. And my youngest sister, she was Army Reserve,” Peebles said.
She hopes some others will see the benefits of aiding army veterans.
