Warnock’s previous team, under fraud investigation, was formerly strike with unemployment tax liens
The New Georgia Venture, which Raphael Warnock was the chairman of for three decades, was hit with liens for failing to shell out unemployment taxes in 3 distinct quarters in 2018 though the now-Senate applicant was at the helm of the team.

Neither Warnock’s campaign nor the New Georgia Task responded to Fox News’ request for comment in time for publication for this story.

“As Georgians are turning out in record quantities to have their voices heard at the polls, the Secretary of State is resorting to desperate tries to smear legislation-abiding businesses and scare eligible Georgians from registering to vote in significant future elections. We will not be deterred,” New Georgia Task CEO Nsé Ufot mentioned in a statement.

The race amongst Warnock and Loeffler on Jan. 5 is one of two U.S. Senate runoff elections going on on that day. The other race is between Sen. David Perdue, R-Ga., and Democrat challenger Jon Ossoff. The final results of the races will decide which party controls the Senate.
