Woman who led police on a high-speed car chase now facing charges

DALEVILLE, Ala. (WDHN) — A lady who police said led them on a superior-speed car chase in the Wiregrass is now in jail and dealing with expenses.
Andrea Collins of Enterprise is at the moment in the Dale County Jail just after thieving the Clayhatchee Chief of Police’s patrol car or truck and main officers on a multi-county vehicle chase.
The chase, which took place in January, started out in Daleville as Collins was reportedly trying to assault somebody with a knife. Which is when Clayhatchee Law enforcement Main Mike Heath stepped out of his patrol motor vehicle to aid a Daleville officer in arresting her.
Police say, after unsuccessful attempts to tase her, Collins obtained into Main Heath’s patrol automobile, locked the doors, and headed west on Freeway 84 with speeds of around 80 miles for every hour.
Legislation enforcement then chased Collins all the way to downtown Company.
