LAKE OF THE OZARKS, Mo. — The Magic Dragon Street Meet car show will roll into town this weekend, and organizers at the Lake Area Chamber of Commerce say registration numbers suggest it will be a well-attended event.
“Registrations have been coming in very steady these past few weeks. We are about half full with pre-registered vehicles which is only about 20% down in comparison to a ‘normal’ year. Now that the weather forecast is available and is showing mid 70’s, we have a feeling it’s going to be a full year,” stated Chamber Director, K.C. Cloke.
The show officially begins on the Strip at noon on Friday, Sept. 11, 2020 and will run till Sunday, Sept. 13, 2020. Registration and dash cards can be picked up at Mount Carmel Baptist Church in Lake Ozark at the following times:
Thursday, Sept. 10, noon – 5 p.m.
Friday, Sept. 11, 6 a.m. – 8 p.m.
Saturday, Sept. 12, 6 a.m. – 11 a.m.
Judging for the event will take place on Sunday, Sept. 13 and all vehicles to be judged must be in place no later than 9 a.m. The awards ceremony will take place on Sunday, Sept. 13 at the Lake Ozark Live stage and will begin at 1 p.m.
