MSNBC visitor assaults Biden as ‘hypocritical’ for failing to conclude filibuster

MSNBC host Tiffany Cross and her guests criticized President Joe Biden for “failing” to conclude the filibuster whilst combating Republican election reform costs.

On Saturday, the “Cross Connection” host spoke with liberal activists, which include Cliff Albright, founder of Black Voters Make any difference, to talk about the latest efforts from Republican state lawmakers to enact election reform. Cross opened this segment with a clip from “The Breakfast Club” radio host Charlamagne Tha God.

“I am glad President Biden stated anything. But he is still not likely tough ample,” Charlamagne stated. “He is still currently being delusional about how to prevent this problem. Why does he believe that the very same persons who are evidently for voter suppression would at any time vote for the For the People today Act or the John Lewis voting rights act?”

Cross agreed with Charlamagne stating, “chat is affordable, Mr. President.” She also referred to Biden’s Tuesday’s speech on voting rights as “make sure you let the Black and Brown men and women vote. Make sure you. C’mon, guys.”

On Tuesday, President Joe Biden gave a speech that known as on Republican lawmakers to end their attempts to tighten voter legislation. He referred to election reform regulations as the finest to U.S. democracy “considering the fact that the Civil War” and pleaded the GOP to prevent their function “for God’s sake.”

In response, Albright criticized Biden for denouncing Republicans even though seemingly carrying out absolutely nothing to conclude the filibuster.

Cross also implied Biden’s commitment for his deficiency of action on the filibuster was purely racial. She included, “black folks are disproportionately impacted by these insurance policies, so I question if that’s why there’s some hesitancy to deal with how significant and dire the predicament is.”
